New investment makes us even stronger

A new fiber laser complementing our fleet gives us completely new opportunities for fast, flexible production.

The latest addition to our investment program is a Fiberlaser Electra. The continued investment in a high degree of automation and new fiber technology will primarily involve faster processing of thin plates, and the opportunity to work with a variety of materials.

The Electra has a 4 kW laser source from Rofin-Sonar. It is equipped with a storage and retrieval tower for sheet metal and automatic nozzle shifting, which means we can run with minimal staffing.

With Electra’s exceptional properties we can offer the most efficient fiber laser on the market. The whole structure of the machine is based on fiber technology. It is extremely stiff, giving excellent stability when used. The positioning is exact and therefore the laser can cut with maintained accuracy during acceleration of 2 G or 20 m/s2.

Many of our customers benefit greatly from the fact that we can now offer very short run times, even for slightly more complex components.

Our supplier was LVD Pullmax, who previously helped us when we invested in a CO2 laser for thicker plates and our new tool cell and a press brake with automatic tool change.

The sum of all our efforts is that we can always offer the most cost effective solution for our customers, regardless of the plate thickness they are working with. This is an important part of our ongoing effort to maintain pole position in advanced sheet metal as a world-class, leading company in the international manufacturing industry.
